Finally Long waited 3-D TV is going to be released

Last week Sony, Panasonic, LG, Toshiba, Mitsubishi and Samsung gaze into the big-screen 3-D TVs on display. Video companies are optimistic that 3-D TV will be huge success this year. To gain a clear understanding of what specifically defines a 3-D TV and what you need for a full experience.

In order to display a full-frame image in 3-D, you need an extremely high frame rate, so usually the TV must be capable of a 240-Hz refresh rate. The TV also needs to support HDMI 1.4, the latest generation of HDMI, which will transmit the massive amount of data necessary to process and display 3-D images. Most 3-D TVs also include a transmitter that can synchronize with the 3-D glasses. The transmitter, usually in the middle of the TV, synchronizes with active-shutter glasses so that the glasses’ lenses show and hide the left and right images at the proper frequency (120 Hz for each eye). Pricing for these glasses has yet to be determined, but is probably in the $100 to $300 range.

The manufacturers are confident that consumers will come along for the 3-D ride sooner or later. The Consumer Electronics Association estimates that 4 million 3-D TV sets will be sold in 2010, most of them in the fourth quarter.

Happy new Year 2010 wow!!

Happy new Year 2010. We have entered into a new year where in everything will go good for us. The expectations and the desires will be satisfied in this beautiful year. The merry year is born. Drop the last year into the silent limbo of the past. Let it go, for it was imperfect, and thank God that it can go

Every man should be born again on the first day of January. Start with a fresh page. Take up one hole more in the buckle if necessary, or let down one, according to circumstances; but on the first of January let every man gird himself once more, with his face to the front, and take no interest in the things that were and are past. I hope this new year would achieve bigger goals and fulfill those commitments which were pending last year.

The Hard Disk manufacture company Seagate is going to launch a new 7mm-thick laptop hard drive, which almost 25 percent thinner than current models.

Generally, Disk drives for laptop computers are typically 9.5 mm or 12.5 mm thick. Recent technological advancements in magnetic data storage allows for more data to fit on a single platter. Hence Seagate makes the new technological advancements in magnetic data storage with 7mm-thick laptop hard drive. But Seagate did not disclose the capacity of the drive, which will be part of its Momentous Thin series.

The launch of 7mm-thick laptop hard drive is planned for the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show in January, which will allow computer makers to build even thinner laptop computers. This 7mm-thick laptop hard drive is important because it will drive better technology toward the 90 percent of netbooks that rely on 9.5-mm, 2.5-inch drives.
